Customizr
Header isn't resolving correctly (5 posts)

I love this theme, but I seem to be completely flummoxed by it. I apologize - I know it's just me because no one else seems to be confused.

The first problem I'm having is with the header. I'm hoping to put the banner above the tagline, etc. When I'm working in the customize window, it looks fine. I've put in my own banner, and it appears just as it should, with the area for the tagline, etc. below it. But as soon as I choose save and close, the banner shifts over to the left corner - very small - and the tag line area is to the right of it and takes up 3/4 of the screen. I thought maybe my banner was too small, but it's 760 x97, so I don't think so. So the look is hard coded...I'm sure I can change that in the header html...would someone mind lending some instruction to the project? I'm minimally savvy.

    Link to site?

No link - it hasn't been published. But it looks like any other site using Customizr - logo on the far left and tag line area starting in the middle and running to the right. Like this: http://www.themesandco.com/customizr/

I want it to have a banner above and tagline below. Like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mkirkwag/11153951516/

I know I need to do something with the header, but I could feel my way through html...CSS is a mystery. If you're asking for the link to look at the source, I can post that somewhere (it's a bit long for heree), but I think this is the relevant part:

Thought I'd just make it public so maybe someone will look at it and lend a hand. I was embarrassed because it's such a mess - the slider is gigantic, the features pics are misshapen, and then of course the issue that this post is about - what I see in the edit is not what appears online. The banner is not centered (though I centered it, and it's missized. Thanks for your help!
