    Hi,

    (reposting this question as cannot seem to fix things...)

    I have a website
    http://www.carringtonlodge.com.au

    It was working fine until I upgraded the version of wordpress and the graphene theme I was using just now...

    When you look at the home page the header is fine, but all other pages the header image is way off to one side.
    I can't work out how to fix it.

    Also, when I'm in the editing screens, my space to edit is about one centimetre wide and runs like this down the page, instead of just my normal editing column. I can post a picture if that helps to visualise what I'm trying to describe.

    Is there any way to undo the upgrades as I had no problems before this.

    Please keep answers basic for me as I don't understand a lot of the technical jargon.

    Thanks for any help.

    Please don't keep creating duplicate threads - it's against the forum rules.

    The header problem looks like it is due to the margin in this CSS:

    .header-img {
        left: 50%;
        margin-left: -480px;
        position: absolute;
        top: 0;
    }

    For the other issues, make sure you've cleared any site, server and browser caches and cookies. Also try another browser.

    If that does not work try deactivating your plugins, resetting the plugins folder by renaming the plugins folder using FTP access to the files.

    If still not, switch to the default theme.

    Sorry.
    Where do I find the CSS?

    That code is in style.css line 496. It's a bit puzzling as to why this problem exists - and any changes you make to theme files will likely be overwritten when the theme is next updated. (Perhaps that where the problem came from?) But since I don't know much about your site (or that theme) - you may as well just try changing the code there - just remove that margin line - be careful not to damage any other lines of code or the CSS is likely to break - it's very fussy :).

    Thank you very much for your help.
    I'm a feeling very dumb.. I'm not good with websites (clearly).
    I don't know where to find style.css ??

    Sorry :(

    No problem :) - that's why we are here. We just don't always know what you know or don't know.

    Actually, I just installed that theme on a test site so I could see what's going on with it better. So go to
    Appearance --> Graphene Options

    click on the Display tab

    then click on Custom CSS (at the bottom of that page)

    Then put this code in that box:

    .header-img {
        margin-left: 0px;
    }

    Click Save All Options. Refresh the site - clear any browser caches.

    Thanks, I end up finding it through a bit of a different way.
    Seems to have fixed my header problem, so thank you so much. I would never have found that or known how to fix it.

    Still can't fix my editing area though... no idea what to do here.
