I've uploaded a custom header image.

It says the image has uploaded successfully, but when I go to the site, it's not showing up. It is just plain white.

    Help!?

The site is not live yet.

I just gave someone else the admin login to see if it works on their computer and it did?

Why would the custom header image work on another computer and not mine????

No idea without looking at the site directly. If I can see the URL than I could tell you more.

Hmmm...ok....well I don't want to make the site live just yet.

My theme is Third Style 1.1.1.

It's ok if you can't help. I'll keep working on it.

I see some issues with this in http://themes.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/812 however it looks resolved, maybe it came back!

Anyways, in that blank space, can you see if anything is behind? Right click try to save as or...

Now, the last thing I can try is if you view source and give me the URL in:

    <div id="header" style=" no-repeat top left;">

    image URL that is :)

When I right click on the image, the "save as" option is not available. So I'm guessing that means nothing is behind it.

this image URL is from view source? PC: Right Click > View Source, if this is indeed from <div id="header" like I mentioned above than there is something behind.

    Sorry...I am technologically stupid ;)

When I right click on image then "view source" an error message pops up

"windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item"

Oh cool we know what the problem is here. Going back to your previous post:

I just gave someone else the admin login to see if it works on their computer and it did?

Why would the custom header image work on another computer and not mine????

The reason why you can't see it is because a) your internet security is very high and it blocks this b) you have some type of software that blocks this for you. Firewall or something else.

Do you have any other computer in your house or mobile that you can check? Or are you logged in as Administrator? But even if you're it could still be the issue.

    But that's it I am 99.9% positive :)

This makes sense...our other computer is with my husband right now (not in the house).

Is this a "security" setting that I can change in my control panel?

If you're admin maybe you can but I am not 100% sure. Can you provide me with your Operating System please and maybe we can get this working.

You don't happen to have AVG Anti-Virus by any chance?

I know the Windows Firewall is "on".

    I also have "Malware protection"

    I'm running on Windows Vista.

    Does this info help?

You can run your Malware and see if there is anything in your system.

But if you don't mind, I would wait for your husband and check this with him. The reason is that it could be a "security" he set, or even a virus in your system which took the control over this. This could happen over virus protection and/or firewall. Microsoft is pretty vulnerable when it comes to this.
