Header image issues in blix theme (6 posts)

    I'm trying to change the header image & eliminate the text showing in the header in the blix theme. I followed the instructions of the theme about changing the header_bg.jpg file with own custom image, and even after emptying the brower cache is still not showing. Also, how can I not show the blog title & description from the header (I still want the blog to contain that title at the top of the browser, just not show in the header) Any help will be much appreciated.

    this is the css code of the header part:

    /*display:none*/
    #header {
    background: url("<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory'); ?>/images/spring_flavour/header_bg.jpg")
    no-repeat bottom center;
    height:225px;
    padding:0 0 0 18px;
    }

    #header h1 {
    /*display:none; This will hide the text in your header */
    padding-top:50px;
    }

    Hmmm, the url in your stylesheet suggests that you're trying to reach a local file:

    url(file:///C|/Users/Echols/.unlimitedftp/images/spring_flavour/header_bg.jpg)

    Several things wrong with your stylesheet: for instance, look at this:

    transparent url(<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory')

    This is not going to work! You cannot have php in your stylesheet.

    And while you're at it: validate your html
