Header Image gives wrong src link to image

After updating to 3.6.1, my header image which was working fine is for whatever reason not showing up. Checking the asset, the src of the file reads “http://http://…/asset”, which during the selecting the asset from my media library it creates a copy of the file and STILL doesn’t list the file name correctly. I’m thinking it could be a functions problem, but even removing ALL plugins, going to the generic 2012 and 2013 themes, it STILL does it.

I’m at wits end. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.
