• i have a custom header, a blogphoto, and a blogicon, that appear in the top area of the page. they show up correctly on the main blog page:
    http:/niyam.com/blog

when i author a blog-post and ‘preview’ it, the top-area previews correctly. this because wp is using its native url to the post to preview. however, when i finally publish it, the url changes to a permalink, and immediately the header-image and blogicon and pic disappear. surprisingly, the alt text and other things still display.
you may check this by opening any blog-post.

i am guessing this is a permalink-induced problem. how may i please fix it?
thank in advance for your assistance.

    regards

  • Hi niyam,

Try uploading your header image to the images folder residing in your current theme folder. Needless to say you must edit the the path afterward.

http://www.netcohol.com is a brilliant example with a custom permalink I suppose.

    Thanks.
