• Okay. I am still banging my head against the wall here. I would like to add my own header to my blog, which is set to the Kubrick Default theme:

    http://sportautocenter.com/wordpress/

the image is up, but the image in front of it, which is that round blob provided by Default is laying on top of it and I would would like to reposition the header so that it is at the top of the blog.

Thanks so much for your help and suggestions!

  • Why not just take the original Kubrick header image, edit/modify that using GIMP or Photoshop, keep the name the same, and upload it over the original one? IMHO, it would be easier that way.. ? =/

I did that – the image in there that you see is called kubrickheader.jpg.

i thought that would be the easiest way, too. but no dice…

I meant, take the whole image itself, edit that.. leaving him as the Original size.. and just modify it, to make it appear smaller in size .. Like you have now.. 😉

Because if you keep the name the same, but just change the width, and height.. you’ll have to edit the CSS codes for the header image size.. and believe me.. that’s a pain in the arse to get it just right lol..

so that addressed the issue of moving up the image to the top by making it fill out the whole space, but that stupid gray box is still there. do you know where i can get it to disappear? thanks so much!

In your index file you are still refering to the default image color..

    /default/images/header-img.php?upper=bbbbbb&lower=bbbbbb

    that bbbbbb is the grey

funny, i couldn’t find that in my index file, css or header, but when i selected default color from the header image and color file, it mysteriously worked. well, thanks very much!
