<< Resolved, found code in header.php that called the add_action in functions.php. Edited style.css to change background color to transparent >>

    Using 2.3, default theme.

I added a custom logo and for simplicity sake, named it kubrickheader.jpg. When my page loads, I can see this pop up but then it's covered with the colors used to define the header in Site Admin/Presentation/Header Image and Color.

I would like that color to be removed. I was able to locate and comment out the code that inserts my blog name and description, but cannot get rid of the colors themselves that are covered my logo.

Can someone point me to the right code to edit/comment out?

    Many thanks,
    Jeffrey
