Hi,
as already written in the title, I can upload my desired background image as often as I want, but it never shows up, but it uploads for sure.
I never tried to resize as it automatically should do as far as I read.
So if anyone have an idea, it would be nice to write here.
Thanks in advance
Tom
It's tough to say without seeing your example, but my guess is that the background isn't in the correct directory, or it is named differently in your css file.

Hi!
@jrav001
Thanks for your answer.
I use the cameleon theme and this theme itself has this as an option in the chameleon admin panel.
But I'll check the css and files on the server. So thanks for the answer anyway.

I think I just had the same problem and managed to fix it.
When you enter the chosen image either by typing or browsing to it I noticed that the cursor remains in the text box. Just press enter and the image appears in th eadmin screen as your current image and if you have not selected the disable option, it will appear on your site. Theme Author (bless him) needs to fix this little quirk up.
Hope this helps
Tell me on which browser does this happen. Looks like the browser does not properly send the given file.
I tried uploading a new header image with Firefox, Chrome, Safari and IE and worked fine on all them.
Hi I am having trouble with a background image not showing up in safari. it shows up in Firefox, my url: http://www.sylvainmeret.com/sylvainmeret
Is there something in the way the css is coded/
thanks for the help,

Sorry, did n't read well enough. But I did see the IE missing image cross in your header and that's the link I gave you.
I can't test in Safari and it is visible (the waterfall) in IE7 and Firefox.
I suggest you start getting rid of several coding and css errors; that helps for Safari too. http://www.xhtml-css.com/
Please, start a new topic if you're talking about a different theme. As I see, this is not Alkivia Chameleon theme we where talking about here.
