• Hello Everyone,

I’m new to WordPress and am trying to figure out the best way to fuze two ideas together…

Here is a template for my website (the blank area is where the generated content would go):

    http://www.oceanscapearts.net/1_new_site/oceanscape_newest%20%28major%20change%29/jm_about.html

Now my main question is this:
How can I edit a WordPress theme to make the header become the permanently affixed footer you see on my template?!

The rest of the content would go in the dark gray area in the middle, flowing down like any other blog. I might even end it with a traditional footer after the scroll.

Any and all help is appreciated from you experts out there. I’ve been stuck on this one for over a year!

Can no one help me with this?

well your header code is in your header.php, everyting under the body tagg is your wordpress theme look for which piece the header is. and try putting that in your footer.php in the way you want.

Thank you for the suggestion Valandil. Could you be more specific?

I need the WordPress header and footer to remain fixed to the top and bottom, while the content scrolls behind. I basically just want to have my main navigation fixed to the bottom of the browser.

    Does this make sense?
