I am having trouble installing WordPress. I have followed the steps to install and seem to be doing something wrong. I am using godaddy.com to host my site and have downloaded their WordPress application. Using the information from that application I filled out my database info in wp-config.php using TextPad. I want to integrate WordPress in my root directory so I used the FTP Client of my host server (godaddy.com). I may be doing this wrong. In the installation directions it states, "If you want to integrate WordPress into the root of your domain (e.g. http://example.com/), move or upload all contents of the unzipped WordPress directory (but excluding the directory itself) into the root directory of your web server." I am not sure if I excluded the directory itself. How would I upload all the contents and exclude the directory itself? After uploading to the FTP Client I have tried to install WordPress by going to http://henrystetina.com/wp-admin/install.php as stated in the installation instructions but get the message "Page cannot be found" "HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found." I must be doing something wrong. Can you please help? Does this make sense? Thanks

You may wond to review what is your web-root folder. If you are using a Windows type hosting at Godaddy, consider changing that to a Linux hosting plan.

What about the difference between uploading it in binary vs. ASCII? Would that cause problems?
