having trouble making my site mobile friendly

I created my site a few days ago, I downloaded a few plugins that turn your site in to mobile. But none of them seem to work neither wp-touch or wp mobile. my site looks really weird on mobile devices can someone tell me what I need to change so it can look good on mobile my site is voterequests.com
