Bainternet Posts Creation Limits
[resolved] Having trouble getting this to work with my custom role + custom post type (9 posts)

Hi, thanks for the plugin. Sounds exactly like what I need although I'm having trouble getting it to work.

I'm running a multi-site installation so have dropped the bapl.php file into the mu-plugins folders. I can see it under the settings in the left side bar, and have limited the custom post type of my custom user role (that I created with the members plugin) to 1.

However, when I login as my custom role, it doesn't limit me in any way to the number of posts I can create under my CPT. I've doubled checked my role and everything else I can think of. Must be missing something so simple.

I'm assuming that you didn't limited the custom post type of your custom user role to 1 in that specific users blog.
You need to set it up in each blog in your Multisite network.

    Hi there,

I've double checked the plugin settings and I can confirm I have a "1" for the custom post type at the top under "post type", and also further down the page for that particular custom role. I've also tried setting everything to 1 and I can still publish the post. Any ideas?

can you send a screenshot of your admin options panel?

I also tried creating a new user and making them an editor but that didn't work. I've made every role have a "1" and still nothing. I've tried copying the plugin to mu-plugins and doing it that way and also as a normal plugin. I only have 1 site running on the multisite installation at the moment, which is the main one. Any ideas?

    Sorry for the multiple screenshots...

@AndrewMunro is that set in your main installation or a sub site?

Thanks for looking into this. It's set on the main site. I have no sub sites currently.
