Having trouble displaying info on author.php archive page

    I have created a guest author profile from an existing user. I want to be able to display the profile’s featured image and bio field as well as some fields made with Advanced Custom Fields at the top of that page before the list of posts associated with that author. Unfortunately, I am unable to get it to work. Where can I learn how to implement this properly?

    Sorry, I didn’t mean “Advanced Custom Fields”, I meant “Extra User Details,” which I believe makes meta fields for a particular user.

    For the scope of the work you want done, I’d likely recommend hiring a developer. It sounds like there are some moderately complex integration steps involved that are specific to your use case.

    Really? I think displaying the featured image on author.php would be fairly general. While I like your plugin, the level of recent documentation on it is pretty sparse.
