• Hi, the blog in question is TheBloggersBulletin.org

    The issues are as follows:
    1) We have a category widget on the left which is fine. However, somebody showed me that a “Category” drop-down menu also is situated in the header area. It’s practically invisible due to the font color so I had not been aware that it was there. We’d like to delete this drop-down Category menu from the header (black bar below “header” maybe — not sure of terms) entirely. Can you tell us how please, as in where/what code needs to get adjusted/deleted?

    2. Have been advised that Sans-Serif is a more readable font. We’d like to change everything below the header area from Serif to Sans-Serif I thought we made the change from Serif to Sans-Serif successfully in the editor some weeks back. But for some reason, it appears the change over to Sans-Serif did not hold (it was Sans-Serif one day, then Serif again the next, all else apparently constant). Anybody know, please, how to change font below the header to Sans-Serif?

    Thank you!

  • 1. Try editing your nav bars template file (header.php?) and removing:

    <li class="categories"><?php wp_dropdown_categories(); ?></li>

    2. There’s actually very little defined serif text within your theme. Most of the text defaults to the user’s font choice within their own web browser (which, I assume, in your case, is a serif font).
