   Hi!
   I used wordpress program to set up my blog on 1&1 server. i can reach the "log in" page. But after I put my user name and password, it leads me an error page. I did check my site url and the wp_log in page. They seem fine. I don't have a firewall. So I don't know why the "log in" page of my blog cannot direct me to the next page. I really appreciate your help.

   You get an error page. So what does the error say?

   After I put in my user name and password, it directed me to the page"http://butterflybutterfly.info/wordpress/wp-login.php"
   It said:
   Error 404: NOT FOUND!
   Your browser cannot find the document corresponding to the URL you typed in.

   Thanks for your help!

   Are you sure about the directory? I go here:

   http://butterflybutterfly.info/wordpress/

   And get a 404 as well, which tells me (as far as the server is concerned) there's no wordpress/ directory there, etc. And your member url you set up with is:

   http://butterflybutterfly.info/blog/

   where there appears to be a copy of WordPress staring at us.

   If you have access to your database through a tool like PHPMyAdmin, you can check and correct the url you set for the WordPress address (site_url), which appears to be the problem here:

   http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/
