   I had huge issues with cron on wordpress (all of my own making) and to cut a long story short, I removed the wp_options value for cron. I thought wordpress had "healed" itself, since it now has cron entries for checking for updates etc, however a few things are not working and I'm hoping someone can help me understand why.

   Scheduled posts don't post, they just show in the list as "missed schedule".

   My wp-o-matic isn't pulling in new posts.

   I'm an experienced PHP developer but a relative wordpress newbie - all suggestions and solutions are hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance :)

   I should have said - I'm using wordpress 2.9.2, but that's not an option in the dropdown box.

   I just also noticed that a post which missed its scheduled slot, today I changed it to draft rather than scheduled and then published it, has the posting date it *should* have gone live at rather than today's date, when it actually did go live. Not sure if that helps explain my problem though
