Have a static home page with 3 selected posts

    Hi there.

    Please forgive me if this is a much asked question, I couldn’t find the answer but maybe I was searching for the wrong thing.

    Basically, I want to have a static home page with a photo, then below it 3 or 4 intros to selected posts, much the same as you get on the category page, 3 or 4 lines with a read more link.

    I assume this is possible but can’t seem to work out how to do it. Maybe I’m going mAd???

    Hi there

    Did you ever figure out how to do this? I see no one was able to assist you so perhaps it can’t be done? I am trying to do this at the moment but am quite new to WP so that will explain why I am struggling with it.
