Hi im new to wordpress and am still finding my way around so sorry if this is in the wrong place, anyway down to business....
Is there a mod like an rss feeder that will fetch feeds from over sites and post them?
Is there a badword filter?

You'll have to search around for an RSS importer, as I don't know of an automated one.

Thanks bud, found what i need ;), just one other thing is there a mod to reconize bbcodes such as [img] [url] etc.... i don't belive wp reconizes these.. gonna have a search myself but if anyone knows of such a mod let me no plz

But HTML works, and I don't see why you'd want to reinvent the wheel.
