How do I ge the paragraph to the left of the header picture to show up? I am wanting to put the websited description there but I cannot find out where to edit the header font. Also, when I create a page it does not show up anywhere on my site...

little bit of css will do this for you ..also check weither you are using a custom menu or not because if so than you got add the pages to the custom menu in the appearance tabs ..... -

That is the bio of the user you have set in the Theme Settings. Go to /wp-admin/users.php to edit the appropriate user bio.
