Hard spaces – how do I get them

If we’re talking about using the &nsbp; character entity in your post, you’ll need to temporarily turn off the rich text editor to insert it (entities along with various HTML tags are ‘eaten’ by the editor). You do this by going to Users > Your Profile, and unchecking “Use the visual rich editor when writing” under Personal Options. Once you’ve edited and saved your post you can turn this back on.
