My plugin, Media Library Assistant, includes an enhanced Gallery shortcode, [mla_gallery]. The shortcode supports queries for attachments with, for example, a specific tag or category regardless of which post/page they are attached to or even if they are unattached.
Role Scoper is adding a WHERE clause restriction on post_parent to every query that includes post_type = 'attachment'. This prevents my shortcode from working as desired.
I can find no way to disable or modify the Role Scoper restriction. How can I configure Role Scoper to allow these queries? Thanks for your help.
