I want to develop a commercial web site in which I have wordpess stuff on one side and my products on the other. I am experienced in both web site creation and word press but not a master at either.
A friend of mine has Artisteer but I couldn’t see a way of getting half pages in it.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Rick

  • I personally will never use Artisteer, just not a fan of “automation” with WordPress code.

for clarification, what do you mean by “half” in the context of your entire question?

I would like the left side of the web site to be devoted to wordpress and the right side devoted to anything I can get going in Frontpage. I want to use wordpress but don’t want it to take over the whole page.
Ideally this format would be on the home page.

Is there a way to position wordpress on a website page?

    need more info.

    Static page? WordPress page? What???

In WP static page = WP page. It’s either WP post or WP page? Did u mean static (x)HTML page?

Yes a static HTML page. I want to be able to work with that page in Frontpage. But I would also like to keep the wordpress elements intact. Is there code that positions WP? If so, could I adjust the code so that I could keep WP off to one side?
Basically I want WP on half the page and the rest untouched by wordpress. I want to be able to use the half that is blank like any other HTML page.
    Thanks

    Frontpage u mean MS Frontpage?

Yes, MS Frontpage. I would like half of the home page to create normal web pages.
I know that there are various plug-ins for wordpress, I just want to locate WP on a page so that I can use the rest of the page for normal HTML.
