I have ... had a hacked WordPress install. Not a big active website, but atill one I wouldn't just delete and rebuild. So Wordfence was tried ... en voilla, we are back on track.
I will now incorporate it in all my WordPress environments. I feel really stupid not having discovered this tool before.
