Hacked Site - Need Help (3 posts)

    Hello,

My site was hacked; I am trying to login to copy and paste my page information to a new domain on a new hosting company. When I type in my normal login information (wp-admin), I get this address:

    http://stellasyard2.info/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fstellasyard2.info%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

Is this a hacked/redirect? Or is it safe to login normally?

I want to reassemble my pages on a new location and afterward, pay someone for "hardening" of the new site.

If logging in at this location will give the hacker full access, how do I proceed? How do I safely get to my dashboard to move my files?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi GardenerPA,

It's safe to login. If you go to http://www.rishida.net/tools/conversion/ and convert (using mixed input) the redirect:

    http://stellasyard2.info/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fstellasyard2.info%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    it comes out as:

    http://stellasyard2.info/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http://stellasyard2.info/wp-admin/&reauth=1

Which is normal for the wordpress login. As to why it's displaying the redirect in unicode, I'm not sure, but as long as you want to login to http://stellasyard2.info its fine to do so. Hope that helps.
