newhope4uI need a wordpress/revolution expert and advice:
I need to implement a cleaning of my hacked site based on the smackdown article for a hacked wp site, but I am afraid to do it, and need your help. I am using Revolution Pro-Media 3.0. . I have access to the 4.0 theme but have been afraid to upgrade that as well as my wordpress updates.
I have a site with two databases and two incidences of wordpress: http://christian-dating-service-plus.com and http://christian-dating-service-plus.com/blog
Like a stooge, I never updated my sites (they are at 2.71 and 2.62) and have gotten hacked...I was afraid to upgrade cause I had some header and sidebar customizations (yes with poor coding as well)
Anyway...I realized my site was hacked from the following...I found my perma links had the eval(base64_decode lingo in them...and I also found similar code insertion of containing base64 in my php theme files (ex header.php) and some of my upload files. They were found at the beginning of my php codes.
I removed all the code I could find in the theme files and reset my permalinks
However, I still notice these issues:
1)My site has been listed as an attack site in Mozilla with this page:
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/its-an-attack.html
2) Sometimes when I click on a page, I get redirected to a different page out of my site. I also notice a prnounced drop in traffic
3) My pages load extremely slow. The used to be 2 sec or less, now 6
4) Finally, some of my pages in google come up as something totally different than what I have for my title tags.
I am a pastor of http://oasis-church-nj.com. That site was also hacked. But I am not worried about that one right now....Can you please help me "smackdown" my singles sites and upgrade my revolution theme as well?
I appreciate any help u suggest. If you cannot do it, is there someone you trust tha can do it. I am desparate.The little money I was making as an affiliate on this site was helping us stay in ministry.
Any advice? Or help on who I can use?
