   I just happened upon this old post of mine by accident:

   http://unplugyourkids.com/2008/09/04/blog-awards/

   And it looks really weird, full of code all including links to kintera.org (I went there - an "internet solutions" company). It looks like this in both Firefox and Safari.

   When I view the post in my WP editor, it is fine. The html looks normal and the visual editor displays it correctly.

   I can just delete this post, but I am worried that: 1) If someone did hack the blog, how did they do it? and 2) How can I tell if any other posts are affected without having to look at each of them individually (there are 566 of them).

   I appreciate any insight into this, and thanks so much for the help!

   The Kintera links seem to be for an ALS walk page that is defunct (Kintera hosts a lot of those walk for charity sites for March of Dimes and breast cancer walks). The link looks ... logical and the page is fine.

   Are you seeing something weird on the admin side? If so, we may need a screenshot.

   Doesn't look like a hack at this point.

   OK, very odd. I just switched computers and the post displays fine in Firefox and Safari on this one. But where are all the kintera.org links coming from on my laptop?

   Screenshot? I honestly have no idea what you mean when you say 'where are all the kintera.org links coming from on my laptop?`

   Do you mean in the post? Do you mean when you edit the post?

   Did you try a cache dump? Your browser could have pitched a fit and loaded the page messed up.

   Just switched the laptop back on and checked and the post displays normally on that now too. Am still concerned about the kintera links coming and going though. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you!

   Don't worry unless it happens again, really. Webpages do the wacky sometimes when they load. I have sites that load perfectly 99.99999% of the time. And then the afternoon you're showing it to your boss...

   The links are not visible any more, but there was all this odd code in the post linking to kintera.org (not a website I have ever heard of before). The links were in the post itself when viewed with a browser. They were not visible in the post editor in either the html or visual mode.

   I did try clearing the cache but that had no effect on the issue, and the problem was occurring in two different browsers on my laptop anyway (Safari and FF).

   Now that the laptop has been turned off and back on, all is OK. I guess it must be something to do with the browsers? I just don't really understand why two separate browsers would be affected and why this website that I've never heard of or been to before would be all over the page.

   I guess it is a non-issue now that it has fixed itself, but I am just wondering about it and trying to learn.
