i was hacked recently, around version 2.7.

my db showed a bunch of tables that were not a regular part of a wordpress install. i deleted all those tables. they were duplicates of my wp tables, but with a different extension, such as wp3541_posts rather than wp_posts.

i created a new user, and deleted the old user.

upon deleting these tables, i began getting this error message after hitting "publish":
    FTP Logindaten falsch

does anybody know what this means?

    note: the post does publish.

    ftp login incorrect

Sounds like there is something still on your server connected with the hack because a script is trying to run.

    Hi,

I also received "FTP Logindaten falsch" when changing the name of a page and pressing 'Publish'. I the proceeded to remove my recently installed 'really static' plugin.

Site seems fine now. It could be that only this plug-in caused my problems, and not a hack, right? Wouldn't be surprised if sergibosch here also had this plug-in installed ;)

(also had WP Super Cache present but disabled, which might have caused the initial malfunction, I dunno...)
