[resolved] h3 widget titles not the same between content and sidebar (5 posts)

    Hi, I am using the sidebar-content-sidebar layout. The problem I am having is that the title of the sidebar columns is slightly smaller than the title of the content column in the center. The titles have borders above and below them, so the slight height variation is not attractive since the borders no longer line up.

    The headers are all wrapped in the same tag:

    <h3 class="widget-title">Header Text</h3>

    but the content column is slightly larger. Is there anyway to remedy this? Here is a link to show what I am describing

    The Featured Stories header is shorter than the Featured Image Post header.

    Thanks!

    I found this workaround in jQuery

    $(document).ready( function() {
    $(".widget-title").css("height","26px");
    })

    but I don't like that as a permanent solution.

    Assign line-height to widget-title would fix this.

    In childtheme's style.css put this

    .widget-title {line-height:2;}
