    I may be over thinking this. I am trying to add a chart to my page by doing the following:

    <?php
    [wp_charts title="barchart" type="bar" align="alignleft" margin="5px 20px" datasets="40,32,50,35 next 20,25,45,42 next 40,43, 61,50 next 33,15,40,22" labels="one,two,three,four"];
     ?>

    This results in an error. Please advise.

    Did you figure this out yet? You need to remove:

    <?php and ?>

    From what I know you're only supposed to put this shortcode in the post/page text editor.

    Hi VIGNE

    you are quite correct you are only supposed to use shortcodes in the post/ page editor, if you would like to use it in a page template you will need the do_shortcode() function - I've added a link below.

    Good luck

    Warmest Regards
