Hi, SLB’s automatic grouping functionality only works with links that are activated by SLB.

Removing the hardcoded rel="lightbox" from the links should allow SLB to handle the activation and grouping.

    If I remove the rel=”slb” or rel=”lightbox”, there’s no lightbox functionality…

Hmm, if the content on that page is from a page/post, then SLB should automatically activate links without any hardcoded rel values.

If you can provide a link where the hardcoded rel values are removed I would be glad to take a closer look.

Could you please provide the code to add to group images?

Okay, worked it out by Googling for other people who use this plugin, it would certainly help if you had a demo page to view it in action.

If you want to group images yourself, rather than having just “slb” in the rel field, replace with “slb_group[9999]” and the images on that page will be grouped.

The number “9999” is just some random number, my guess is make it a high one so it’s higher than your highest post/page number.

I’m glad you found a solution that worked for your needs 🙂

However, note that using internal functionality is not supported and can change at any time. For example, grouping is handled differently in the upcoming v2.0.

Then hopefully you’ll provide examples or documentation so relevant changes needed will be easily identified.
