Great plugin but interferes with the excerpt

I’m using the Arras WordPress Theme that generates the excerpt from the first few sentences of the post. Unfortunately, this plugin doesn’t allow it and the only workaround I see is to manually enter the excerpt in wordpress.

I’m hoping plugin dev can take a look on this.
