I have been using the free version for years and I've have been able to do virtually everything needed. I really don't understand your comment about "full access is a paid version." With the free version of this plugin, you can limit users access to most everything that you might need. While the add-on that is available will provide further capabilities, .. most of the controls, such as limiting access to individual plugins, limiting access to editing or changing of themes, limiting access to creating or modifying user accounts, and so much more .. are all part of the free version of this plugin. As a long time user of this plugin, if you'd like, I'd be happy to look at what you're needing to do and see if I can figure out a way for it to be done within the free version. This plugin, to me, is fabulous and does everything I could expect. And the plugin just keeps getting better and better as the developer continues with it.
