Since updating my blog to version 3.3.1, my gravatar no longer appears.
It is fine on other peoples blogs, but not on mine.
I have checked with gravatar.com and they say there is no problem with my gravatar.
Any help would be appreciated, but please be aware that my technical ability is zero and I only understand simple language!!
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this.
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- checking your avatar settings in Settings -> Discussion.

Thanks so much for the prompt reply. I have now taken your advice on the following:
I have deactivated and reactivated the plugins one by one....no luck.
I switched to the Twenty Eleven theme...no gravatar appeared there either.
I had already checked the avatar settings in 'Discussion'
This leaves me with resetting the plugins folder, and to be honest, I have had a look, and because of my inexperience, that scares me!I would be afraid of messing something up.
I am going to try to get someone to do that for me, I think.
