   Recently, whenever I share a link to my wordpress blog on facebook, myspace or linked-in my post image doesn't show up, instead a blue box with a sideways G
   (the gravatar logo) appears as the thumbnail image. I have been told it's a problem with facebook recognizing it, but the same thing happens on ANY site not just facebook. I am going crazy trying to correct this.

   Hi, you're just seeing the default avatar for http://en.gravatar.com/
   Do you have a gravatar account. Why not sign up and create it, you should then see it on your own blog and others you use, make sure its the same as the email address you're using when registering and commenting etc.

   bestofbothworldsaz, did you find the solution to this issue? Since I'm running into it this week -- some of my posts are ok on facebook, while others it doesn't graph the images and only places the gravatar logo on there.

   I unclicked " Show sharing buttons on this post." at the bottom of the post and now it works.

   Oops -- it work for one but not the next one. Clearly not a lasting solution. :(

   I am hitting this same issue on self-hosted 3.2.1

   Any updates about how to fix is greatly appreciated.
