• So I set up a host for someone, and worked out a wordpress site to it’s completion at http://www.mysite.com/wordpress.

Now it’s done and ready and I want to move the site to http://www.mysite.com.

After initially attempting to move the files to the root directory and that not working, I moved it back and have been trying to follow these directions using the Using a pre-existing subfolder install instructions here: http://codex.wordpress.org/User:Ipstenu/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

I got stuck at step 7, trying to log back in. I tried to undo my steps, I searched the forums and tried other tips and advice. But now I’m hopelessly lost, cannot get the site up again at either the root level nor the wordpress directory — and no, I did not back up my files before attempting all this!! Ahh. I’m not sure where I screwed up.

Now all I have is the error message “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDIF in /home/mysite/www/www/wordpress/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2305”

The website in question is here: http://tinyurl.com/le6mrsu

I would really hate to have to redo the whole site from scratch.
    Help anyone?
