wordlinksI normally host with BlueHost and have been working on a GoDaddy hosting account very recently. I cannot get the Google XML Sitemaps plugin working.
The messages are:
"There was a problem writing your sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable." and
"There was a problem writing your zipped sitemap file. Make sure the file exists and is writable."
The plugin would not create the initial files.
I tried creating a sitemap.xml file myself in the WordPress install directory, checked permissions and compared the path to make sure it was correct, but I still get the error message.
I run the same version on my sites hosted elsewhere without problem. Whether or not this is a GoDaddy issue, what can I do to resolve this?
