Google XML Sitemaps – Plugin

    Wanted to ask and get a prompt answer regarding Google XML Sitemaps plugin. I’m currently using sitemap.xml which I generated from http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ since I have that on my WP blog site already do I need this google xml sitemaps plugin? Any replies/answers will be greatly appreciated.

    What did google say when you submitted your sitemap to them?

    Hi Andrew, thanks for the reply.

    Well I had sitemaps.xml for a while now and google did process it and still does. I just wanted to know if its good idea to use the plug in or just leave the current one alone.

    No reason to if google has the proper amount of pages indexed and isn’t showing any errors.

    Thanks a lot for your help Andrew.

    I do have one more question. I see some errors in google/webmastertools

    I see crawl erros 6 under “not found” and fixed those pages. I fixed it and clicked on mark asfixed. is that how its done?
