    Hi i am having real trouble with google verification,i keep getting this message We weren’t able to verify your site: http://www.blackstarimages.com/

    i have the Google Site Verification using Meta Tag plug-in and i am putting the google cobe in ” google48be2fde65602d49.html” i have tried it dozens of times but it keeps saying the verification file was not found??
    please help its driving me crazy!!

    Couple of possibilities:
    A caching plugin is serving outdated pages to Google’s crawler.
    Your robots.txt file is blocking Google. Look for: User-agent: * Disallow: /
    You have search engines blocked in your site’s “Privacy” settings.
    You’re not installing the verification correctly. I find the file upload method works best; once it’s uploaded make sure you can access it through a browser to double-check.
