I'm not certain when it started happening (much less why) but Google spell checking has started to corrupt my WordPress posts.
When Google spell check finds misspelled words in a form, it wraps the work in a <span> tag along with a lot of text formatting to highlight the error. When the spell check is terminated, it used to remove the <span> tags.
Something broke and now the <span> tags remain, which have to be cleaned out of the HTML manually -- very bothersome.
Currently on WordPress 2.6 and Google says the toolbar version is 3.1.20080730W (which I don't call updating to -- wonder if they are auto-updating against my will).
All advice is welcome.
