  • Thank you oliver:) as testing and development costs a lot of time i decide to publish google plus as an additional addon. Did you already look at it? Otherwise for most people twitter and facebook should be ok.

No, I didn’t realize you had an addon. Very cool!

Is there a way to get Google Plus to appear like the Facebook and Twitter links?

Also, it would be even better if the plugin was responsive as well!

What u mean with responsive? They are floating to the left when the website is watched mobile. Not enough? It would be possible to make the G+ button as large as the FB and twitter ones but as the content width is limited that could lead to problems and the buttons float than.

With smaller buttons it would be possible but i wanted to have the same look as mashable has:)

    Hi Rene,

    Thanks for the info.

What I mean by responsive is to handle it in the same way as the real mashable share buttons. You’ll notice that on a mobile phone the buttons look different. The text is removed and only the icon is shown. Likewise if you resize your desktop browser you can see how their share buttons change with the screen size as well. Just a suggestion.

Just to add to my comment about the G+ button … maybe allowing the user to choose which two buttons they want front and center and the rest hidden in the + icon?

Again, awesome plugin just thought I would throw in my suggestions to make it that much better!

Hi Oliver, your suggestions are very welcome and i appreciate them a lot.

About the responsibility: For the moment it is not possible without a lot of additional work. Its also very hard to make it universally applicable to every theme and WordPress website because of the need or either Javascript and/or media queries which depends on the specific layout of any Theme. So if i should create them responsible as on Mashable i can only do that for the paid addon because people will need custom support than (I am sure they need)

I’d be willing to pay for that as a paid addon. I’m sure others would as well. Thanks.

    Great plugin ..

I totally agree with Oliver .. making it responsive would be great
maybe you can add an addon to make it use bootstrap..

    Thanks

I will check if i find a way to make them universal responsible:)
