    Hey all,
I recently switched to the WP format. Using the same content from the old (ugly) site.
I submitted to Goole as http://www.mysite.com. previously it was http://www.mysite.com/index.html

Do I need to submit as http://www.mysite.com/index.php?

I am asking because I had achieved # 17 on Yahoo and 34 on Google under a difficult search term and now (as of today) I don't exist on either of the two search engines.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You don't need to submit at all. Google largely ignores those submissions, it seems to me. If you want to get listed, make sure other (popular) sites link to yours. Then wait for Google to notice.

Incidentally, WP doesn't typically have index.php at the end of the URL, unless you're not using pretty permalinks.
