henkjanAm getting the folowing errors when trying to run the sitemap generator.

Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): unknown error
In addittion on the plugin page there is a message stating that generating the sitemap was not completed and that increasing php memory might help. However it also says the script used 17 mb of the available 32 mb? and that the duration was 1 second whereas the setting of the server is 30 seconds.
I have already tried other suggestions including settingpermissions to the sitemap.xml and sitemap.xml.gz to 666 or 777 without success
Can anyone help?
