Our topics are well found by Google and other search machines. No complaints there. But the links lead to the homepage only; not to the page where the searched topic is found. This is not the right way to treat visitors! What can I do about it?
I did install the 'All in one SEO' plugin. No result there.

    See: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/410993

Also, Google prefers pages with more than a sentence or two of text (like your home page), so make sure that your individual posts have enough unique text.

    Any more suggestions?
The suggested 'Overboard engine' article has a lot of text, but still is not showed directly by the Google search link.

This can also be a sign of too low PageRank (not enough incoming links to the site and individual pages). With low PageRank, Google will mainly just show the few most important pages (like the home page).

You also appear to have identical content on the .com and .nl versions of your site, and Google's identical content filter may be keeping most of the .com pages out of the results.

As I said in your other thread, overboard+engine+bootjesgek takes me to http://www.bootjesgek.com/?p=121

Isn't that what you want? That's using Google in the U.S.

I installed 'All-in-one SEO pack'. Default Canonical URLs (whatever that means) was already turned on. I also installed the 'XML Sitemap generator'
Now the links generated by Google Saerch lead directly to the Single Posts, as I wanted. I gave Google some time for indexing of course (e.g. one day?). Problem solved.
