[Google maps] Putting posts into maps using KML (3 posts)

The title basically states what I want. Many plugins ( Like inline google maps I've been using now ) can draw maps inside wordpress pages, postings whatever.

What I want is basically the reverse. I'd like to tag posts with coordinates and then display these posts on a central google map I have on a page.

Ideally these data is written to a KML-like file / location or the likes so you can combine this datastream with several other data files and a dynamical stream from google itself (?). I know that inline google maps can parse multiple files and sources at the moment.

The questions I have are :

    - Does anybody know of such plugin or feature somewhere? I've been searching around but unlucky so far

    - If not, does somebody has a witty idea how such thing could be implemented in wordpress? Perhaps even with a little code reuse from the other plugins available?

I'm looking for the exact same thing.

The Google Map Shortcode is almost right:

    http://web-argument.com/google-map-shortcode-version-11/

... but it generates the maps, as well. I just want to have my posts be generated as points on the map.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
