I’m a little stumped on something, I made a clone of a VM instance with this already installed. Oddly, the cloned instance this shows Google maps fine. The original one doesn’t show any Google maps.

It’s not loading eme_location_map.js, its not even including it into the generated event.

    eme_gmap_is_active is DEFAULT_GMAP_ENABLED in the eme_settings.php config
and by default eme_load_js_in_header is set to 0.

I don’t know what changed other than the VM instance hostname/IP?

Eme_settings.php is not a config file, you should not touch it. Check in the EME admin backend of wordpress if google maps are activated.

It is enabled, that’s the thing. My web developer says he turned it off/on, still didn’t make a difference.

We’ll try enabling debug to see what’s going on and I’ll report back if anything.

So I put some debug, I noticed the default events created are not passing #_MAP (we’re using an old version of the plugin right now.. I suspect maybe a bug).

If I add the tag to the event in the ‘Single Event Format’ it shows the maps fine.

It’s not really a bug, in the past I just didn’t show the map by default, newer versions do.
You can always change the “Single Event Format” to your liking by using any of the available placeholders found at
