Hi, I launched my wordpress website 3 weeks ago and by now I would have hoped for some google optimization love but I have had nothing. Can someone tell me the best approach here.

If you have a google account you can submit your site for indexing. Other things to do are make sure your page is that your page is valid html and make sure you have your meta tags set properly for content and description. Don't go overboard on those though. A google search for "search engine optimization" will also help you find some tips (but beware, some are bullshit)
