Google listings - some using excerpts, some not, some dated, some not (5 posts)

I recently moved my blog to a new domain: http://jayakula.org.

Google is starting to reindex, but I noticed that when I do a site:jayakula.org search, some of the post/page listings have a date in front of them, some not. Some are using the excerpts I created, some are just using the first lines of the post. The excerpts are not new.

Any ideas about what could be amiss at my end, if anything? Thanks for your help.

It depends on the markup of your site (and a few other things). Is the excerpt being used in a meta description tag on all or only some pages? Have you submitted a sitemap? Did you redirect all your old urls?

    Hi -- thanks for responding

The excerpt was entered for every post and page in the excerpt box on the write/edit post page. I've been using excerpts for years and never had this problem.

I have submitted a sitemap using Google xml sitemap generator.

I have 301 redirected all of my old urls.

Did you move your rss feed?

Yes. I checked the feed output, and it is using the excerpts as usual. Maybe it will just sort itself out as the transition continues.
