Google indexing (4 posts)

Google indexes some posts as if it's just scanning the home page and provides a link of

    http://www.mysite.com

and other times it indexes what I would consider to be correct which is the actual post address of

    http://www.mysite.com/2007/8/03/posttitle/

the latter indexing obviously gets the proper title tag of the post indexed, rather than title tag of the entire blog which occurs in the first. And obviously if it indexes with just the homepage URL, then that topic may no longer be at the homepage URL when someone finds the item in a search result.

It's not duplicating, it just seems to choose one sometimes and the other the rest.

    Appreciate the help.

Hi, you posted this question one week ago and got no answer. I canĀ“t really deliver an answer, but maybe make a suggestion: if you install some of the WP-SEO Plugins and keyword your posts as good as possible, google might direct-link more often ... maybe. hope this helps you a little bit.

Use the Google Sitemaps plugin. Solves most of these sorts of problems:

Thanks Otto42 - I just found this from a search as Google isn't indexing my sites so well...

The plugin was quick and easy to download and install. Yay!
