   Why is google displaying Index of /wordpress. As soon as I click it i get to a page with the Parent Directory link which redirects to my regular site.

   My issue is why is this link up on google? My .htaccess has to be modified? If so, what is the right procedure so that google does not add Index of /wordpress to its list.

   may be you'll have to modify your robot.txt, to disallow the bots to crawl to that folder... !
